Area Intel
"From the shadows of the Rwenzori Mountains to the banks of the Kazinga Channel, this sector is a masterclass in topographical variety."
Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) is a high-density intelligence zone. The mission signature is the Ishasha Sector, world-renowned for its tree-climbing lions—a tactical adaptation rarely seen elsewhere.
The park is split by the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. This area holds one of the world's highest concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles. To the east, the Kyambura Gorge—the "Valley of Apes"—provides a sunken rainforest environment for chimpanzee tracking.
Strategic Notes
04. Geological Intel
- 01 Kazinga Recon: Boat-based observation offers a high-fidelity visual of elephants and buffaloes hydrating at the water's edge.
- 02 Explosion Craters: Navigate the Katwe-Kikorongo trail to see 72 volcanic craters, some holding salt lakes still mined by local communities.
- 03 Birding Intel: With over 600 species, QENP has the highest bird count of any protected area in East Africa.
