Olmoti Crater is a shallow, grass-covered caldera that serves as a primary catchment area for the region's water supply. The trek to the rim is a tactical ascent through mountain forests and moorlands, often yielding sightings of eland, buffalo, and bushbuck.
The sector’s crown jewel is the Munge Waterfall, where the river breaches the crater wall and drops hundreds of feet into the floor below. This is an area of deep cultural significance, where Maasai pastoralists have lived in harmony with the volcanic landscape for centuries.
